SCOTT APPLETON, MD, FACC, FACP Dr. Appleton is Board Certified in Pediatric Cardiology. He received his undergraduate and Medical Degree with Honors in Research from the University of Florida. He completed his Internship and Residency in Pediatrics at the Medical University of South Carolina, and a Fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. For eight years he was an Asst. Professor of Pediatric Cardiology at St. Louis University where his duties included interventional cardiac catheterizations, transesophageal echocardiography, fetal echocardiography and all aspects of pediatric cardiology. He was the Director of the Echocardiography Laboratory and Medical Director of the Pediatric Heart Transplant Program. He has been a Pediatric Cardiologist in the Orlando area since June, 1994. Dr. Appleton lives in Longwood with his wife and two children. |
