THOMAS P. CARSON, MD FACC, FAAP Ask Dr. Carson! - You can have a dialogue with Dr. Carson concerning any Pediatric Cardiology question that you might have! Dr. Carson is a Board Certified Pediatric Cardiologist. He received his undergraduate degree in Clinical Chemistry and his Medical Degree from the University of South Florida, Tampa, FL in 1979. He did his residency training in Pediatrics at Emory University, Atlanta, GA, with a Fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology at Emory University as well.
Dr. Carson is Board Certified in Pediatrics since 1985 and Pediatric Cardiology since 1988. He is chairman of pediatrics at Florida Hospital. He is on the board of advisors for the Florida Children's Hospital, and is on the Board of directors for "Kids Docs" which is an IPA of private practice pediatric subspecialists. Affiliations: Fellow American College of Cardiology, Fellow American Academy of Pediatrics, Member American Heart Association, Member Florida Medical Association. He was President of the Central Florida Chapter of the American Heart Association in 1992 and was chosen for “Best Doctors in America” in 1998. Dr. Carson has been in private practice in Orlando since 1984. Dr. Carson lives in Orlando with his wife and two children.
